sermon emanating from Chuck Pierce word for 2012
Note: My commentary and/or words is/are in Green print
ALSO: BECAUSE OF MANY COPY/PASTE ISSUES (ONLINE BIBLE AND DICTIONARY) , SOMETIMES THERE IS A HUGE SPACE BETWEEN WORDS -- KEEP SCROLLING UNTIL YOU GET TO THE END...THE LAST PASSAGE IS FROM REVELATION.

Sermons: A stirring ofnew hope of fulfilling God’s vision for me and a strengthening of resolve to “keep soldieringon ‘ in Jesus’ NAME!!
I opened an email with a word for 2012 from Chuck Pierce just after I wrote my weekly Victory Time report this past Wednesday:
In my VT report I had shared some hindrances to my moving forward, e.g., not resting enough, being involved and concerned with things above the level that I should be --- learning to do what I am supposed to , do it, and then “let it go” . Knowing when something cannot be changed by me and knowing when it can. Let go of the frustration when people I love don’t do what I know would be best for them. Sometimes I am included in that list of “people”.
Because I realize that over the top people involvement is a barrier to my “moving forward” sometimes, I included the Serenity Prayer in my report:
"God give me the detachment to accept those things I cannot alter;
the courage to alter those things I can alter;
and the wisdom to distinguish the one thing from the other."I realized that often my progress in the Lord has been hindered by a reoccurring time of getting way too involved in problems that are not mine to deal with . Or, they are rightfully mine to hear , counsel, and pray for; but, then I take the problem on longer or more intensely than what, I believe, the Lord is requiring of me. This “habit” needs to be broken so I can move into more fulfillment of my ministry in all of its many aspects!
To make eliminating barriers to progress, i.e., “moving forward”, I need to define what is “moving forward” to myself. I need to know what it is I AM called to do and get so “stirred up” about it that I am no longer wrongfully detoured by staying in a certain focus longer than I should.
This word by Chuck Pierce was a confirmation to me of the things God was telling me to do. Within less than a minute I finished my Victory Time email and opened up the email with this word in it. It felt like a seamless continuation of the Holy Spirit’s dealings with me.
I know I have a place to “enter into” and I know that I need to war to get there. I know I must keep the
“stirrings” of the Lord before me and overcome everything (Chuck calls them “old cycles”) that hinders the fulfillment of getting to where I need to be.Some of these hindrances are strongholds! The line Chuck uses in the word below is a real challenge to say! “Declare that everything in your past be repaired and restored so that your future can be unlocked.”
The world says you cannot teach an old dog new tricks. BUT, in Christ we are continually changed!!!
But 1161 we 2249 all 3956, with open 343 face 4383 beholding as in a glass 2734 the glory 1391 of the Lord 2962, are changed 3339 into the same 846 image 1504 from 575 glory 1391 to 1519 glory 1391, [even] as 2509 by 575 the Spirit 4151 of the Lord 2962.
We sing “Little by little and day by day; little by little in every way, my Jesus is changing me. As I look into His face, Jesus is changing me by His grace. My Jesus is changing me.” J

I will be dissecting Chuck Pierce’s Word for 2012, so before I get so into doing that , I think it would be good for me to print what he wrote because once I start my commentary, it may be hard for you to know what is from him and what it is that I am adding.
Make a list of old cycles. Now is the time to break from any old cycle that has held your promise and destiny in captivity. Declare that your Passover time of deliverance is now beginning. Ask God for signs, wonders, and miracles that will intervene in old cyclical structures of your life.
Be secure in timing. Declare that everything in your past be repaired and restored so that your future can be unlocked. Look up and see the window of heaven that is opening over you. Gain victory in strategic warfare. Do not be afraid to ascend in worship.
This is a time to experience God’s glory. Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Ask God to open your eyes so you can see His glory. Make a list of promises. Even make a list of stirrings that have been in your heart that have never come to fullness. Let His presence direct you into the path of deliverance and pass over from captivity to freedom.
Position yourself for your future. The best is ahead!

Chuck ‘s word “stirred me up” to take the steps he lists in order to march on to a more victorious life.
There are many things I hope to accomplish before I leave this earth and , I know, I need to break some old patterns of living in order to fulfill the things God is calling me to be and to do.
I am sharing today the thoughts and Word that came to me as I read Chuck’s word to the church for 2012. Now I will return to his words ; but, this time adding commentary and scripture that came to me while reading it:
BreakOld Cycles for 2012
Wednesday, 28 December 2011 11:38 AM EST ChuckD. Pierce Newsletters - PropheticInsight
“Israelwas an example of a corporate group who had to overcome several things toenter their promised land. Thefollowing spiritual assignment will allow us to move forward into the fullness of God’s plan for our lives as we looktoward 2012.Now is the time tobreak from any old cycle that has held your promise and destiny in captivity.” cp
“Old cycle” – habits, hangups, things wedo repeatedly that are not getting the right results, sometimes we have cyclesof being on a spiritual “high” and then “low” over and over and not really breaking free from that merry go round toascend higher!
Cycle in dictionary: 1. any complete round or series of occurrences that repeats or isrepeated.
The Israelites inthe Old Covenant writings had a cycle: Sin, be punished, cry out in repentance with pleas for mercy, restoration, peace, and then creeping back into sin. This cycle was repeatedmany , many times by them!
It takes seriousself examination and a willingness to change to break any “old cycles” in ourlives. The enemy wants us “stuck in arut”, not climbing up into realms of victory. To press into liberty from “oldcycles” will definitely stir up strong spiritual warfare and will needintentional strategies for victories!
We may need someliteral deliverance from demons !
Chuck says, “Make a listof old cycles”. So, do“Make a list of old cycles” that youwant to have the Spirit deal with: Examineyourself for “leaven” and destructive behaviour too!
We are exhorted in scripture to “examine“ ourselves.
When we do the Lord’s Supper together, one the passages we share frequentlyis:
For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.
¶
Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink [this] cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of [that] bread, and drink of [that] cup.
For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
Here are some of the verses that the“Treasury of Scripture Knowledge “ had to go along with 1 Cor. 11:28
Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my reins and my heart. 3 For thy lovingkindness [is] before mine eyes: and I have walked in thy truth.
I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers.5. I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked.
Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the LORD.
Now therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.
Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.
Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
Chuck has listed quite specifically whathe believes is a spiritual assignment for us – this word contains manydirectives, verbs in their imperative form.
Let’s examine someof these instructions :
Chuck writes, ”Draw near to God; experience His glory”—life planning without God’s presence is worthless.
[[A Song 7892 of degrees 4609 for Solomon 8010.]] Except the LORD 3068 build 1129 the house 1004, they labour 5998 in vain 7723 that build 1129 it: except the LORD 3068 keep 8104 the city 5892, the watchman 8104 waketh 8245 [but] in vain 7723.
Invain = 7723: 1) emptiness,vanity, falsehood a) emptiness,nothingness, vanity b) emptinessof speech, lying c)worthlessness (of conduct)
Notice your stirrings Chuck says, “Even make a list of stirrings that have been in your heart that have never come to fullness.” What“stirrings” have come and gone and come again in your heart that you believeGod is using to prompt you to do and be something in particular? Have therebeen prophetic words that you KNEW were from God but you “let them go” a long time ago? Did you start to thinkthey were impossible to be fulfilled?
He says to “notice” your stirrings.Notice means:
Notice: Verb:
12.
to become conscious or aware of; perceive ;
.
take notice to pay attention; attend
3.
take no notice of to ignore or disregard
If I pay attention to something, I will get to KNOW it. When someone says, “NOTICE this” , they are saying we must turn our attention to it, perceive it, and learn it.
In regard to our “stirrings” – if we are not motivated to hear the Lord’s call to various actions, we will miss often when He speaks to our hearts. Many times His voice is quiet -- only heard by the one truly listening for His voice.
WRITE DOWN all the “stirrings” you can think of. Let the Lord excite you to action once again.Let Him show the stratigies in the path to the fulfilment of these “stirrings”
Whatare “stirrings”?
Stirrings: E.g, you are semi awake in your bed. You begin to realize this is the day youstart your new job. You are excited (stirred). Although the bed is comfortable, you know you must get up and do everystep it takes to take you from that moment to the desk at your new job.
Being stirred results from wanting somethingand what you want is within reach if certain steps are taken.
Thereis a feeling realm, e.g., excitement;there is an action realm, i.e., the path to attainment.
stir·ringadjective 1. rousing, exciting, or thrilling: 2. moving, active, bustling, or lively noun Usually, stirrings . 3. a mental impulse, sensation, or feeling:
I put “stir up” into the thesaurus and got “awaken”:
Definition:
make conscious or alert
Synonyms:
activate, animate, arouse, awake, call, enliven, excite, fan, incite, kindle, pile out, provoke, rally, revive, rise and shine, roll out, rouse, show a leg, stimulate, stir up , turn out, vivify, wake
Antonyms:
deaden, go to sleep, hypnotize
The word “stir” is used in the Bible in the following verses as something we can do to each other, i.,e., I can awaken your mind with powerful , Spirit filled words.
Wherefore 1223 3739 156 I put 363 0 thee 4571 in remembrance 363 that thou stir up 329 the gift 5486 of God 2316, which 3739 is 2076 in 1722 thee 4671 by 1223 the putting on 1936 of my 3450 hands 5495.
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Yea 1161, I think it 2233 meet 1342, as long as 1909 3745 I am 1510 in 1722 this 5129 tabernacle 4638, to stir 1326 0 you 5209 up 1326 by 1722 putting [you] in remembrance 5280;

b) metaph.
1) to arouse the mind
2) stir up, render active
To show an example of someone stirring someone else into action , let’s look at 2 Peter 3: 1Thissecond epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way ofremembrance: 2That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by theholy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord andSaviour: 3Knowing this first, that there shall come in the lastdays scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 4Andsaying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
5For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of Godthe heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in thewater:6Whereby the world that then was, beingoverflowed with water, perished:7But the heavens andthe earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved untofire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. 8But,beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with theLord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9TheLord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but islongsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that allshould come to repentance. 10But the day of the Lordwill come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass awaywith a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earthalso and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 11Seeing then thatall these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye tobe in all holy conversation and godliness, 12Lookingfor and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavensbeing on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with ferventheat?
13Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavensand a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. 14Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, bediligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.15And account that the longsuffering of ourLord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according tothe wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; 16Asalso in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which aresome things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstablewrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.17Yetherefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest yealso, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your ownstedfastness. 18But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lordand Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever.Amen.Some “stirrings” which should be active in us come as a resultof seeing in the Word what SHOULD stir us and exactly what behavior SHOULDresult from that “stirring”. We could gothrough the whole Bible looking for examples of this and probably be able towrite a book as a result!
GOD stirs us up by HisSpirit:
The grace of the Lord within us induces deep stirrings in us because Grace is “divine influence on the heart” – whenGod “influences” our heart, we are stirred!!
When we discuss “knowing our stirrings”, we must include theability to hear God’s Words to us. To exercise this ability means we spend timein Worship, time in Word , time in prayer, and time in listening for His voiceand meditating on what we hear Him saying.
God’s grace continually influences our hearts. What is“influence?
Influence:dictionary.com: 1. the capacity or power of personsor things to be a compelling force on or produceeffects on the actions, behavior, opinions, etc., of others: 2. the action orprocess of producing effects on the actions, behavior, opinions, etc., ofanother or others: ……7. to exercise influence on; affect; sway: to influence aperson. 8. to move or impel (a person) to some action: Synonyms 7.impress, … direct, control. 8. incite, rouse, arouse, …. persuade.
7.
to persuade or induce
[C14: from Medieval Latin influentia ….., from Latin influere to flow into, from fluere to flow]
I think of the song, “Holy Spirit rain down”—we are asking the Holy Spirit to fall on us like rain so He will flow on us. One dictionary definition of “flow” is : “ to stream or well forth: Warmth flows from the sun.” We know that strength, direction , comfort, revelation , teaching , prophetic words, spiritual gifts – many more wonderful treasures – FLOW from the Spirit to us!
Holy Spirit Rain Down (Russell Fragar)
Chorus:
Holy Spirit rain down, rain down!
O Comforter and Friend
How we need Your touch again!
Holy Spirit rain down, rain down!
Let Your power fall, let Your voice be heard,
Come and change our hearts,
As we stand on Your Word,
Holy Spirit rain down.
Bridge:
No eye has seen, no ear has heard,
No mind can know what God has in store.
So open up heaven, open it wide,
Over Your church, and over our lives.
We want the Lord to flow into our whole being! We want Him to stir us up and we will cooperate with Him and act upon these stirrings! We want Him to remind us of stirrings He brought into our hearts in the past and have the corresponding vision for our life renewed!
We want Him to heal all the hurts and disappoint that came when we took ahold to a particular vision but it got blocked and we felt defeat! We pray for hope to be restored and the visions to be renewed!
Hope 8431 deferred 4900 maketh the heart 3820 sick 2470: but [when] the desire 8378 cometh 935, [it is] a tree 6086 of life 2416
We pray that our hearts be healed from deferred hope and that we once more have the faith to hope!
The Holy Spirit stirs us up; yet, we can also stir each other up (as Peter was doing in the afore stated passage, 2 Peter 3) AND stir ourselves up too! (e.g.,
Wherefore 1223 3739 156 I put 363 0 thee 4571 in remembrance 363 that thou stir up 329 the gift 5486 of God 2316, which 3739 is 2076 in 1722 thee 4671 by 1223 the putting on 1936 of my 3450 hands 5495)
Chuck writes,”Let His presence direct you into the path of deliverance”
For us to “let” His presence direct us, we have to BELIEVE His presence IS with us!
-- KNOW – believe – have faith that the Lord IS WITH YOU AND WILL DELIVER YOU FROM ALL THATOPPOSES WHAT YOU ARE TO BE AND DO
Hebrews 13: 5B I will never3364leave 447thee 4571,nor 37613364forsake 1459thee 4571.
For 1063 it is 2076 God 2316 which 3588 worketh 1754 in 1722 you 5213 both 2532 to will 2309 and 2532 to do 1754 of 5228 [his] good pleasure 2107.
I can do 2480 all things 3956 through 1722 Christ 5547 which 3588 strengtheneth 1743 me 3165
For 3754 whatsoever 3956 is born 1080 of 1537 God 2316 overcometh 3528 the world 2889: and 2532 this 3778 is 2076 the victory 3529 that overcometh 3528 the world 2889, [even] our 2257 faith 4102.
--KNOW THERE IS A WAY OUT OF (I.E.,DELIVERANCE) THE DULLNESS AND INACTIVITY (or any other hindrance PROHIBITING YOU FROM FULFILLING THOSE THINGSGOD HAS PLACED ON YOUR HEART TO BE AND TO DO.
Don’t ever give up!
Thou 4771 therefore 3767 endure hardness 2553, as 5613 a good 2570 soldier 4757 of Jesus 2424 Christ 5547.
Behold 2400, we count them happy 3106 which endure 5278. Ye have heard 191 of the patience 5281 of Job 2492, and 2532 have seen 1492 the end 5056 of the Lord 2962; that 3754 the Lord 2962 is 2076 very pitiful 4184, and 2532 of tender mercy 3629.
