  • Salvation, Evangelism , Missions study pointers

Starting 5/8 we will be studying Evangelism, Salvation, and Missions.

You could include in your study:  1.Why do we need to be saved?  2.  What did God do to save us? 3. EXACTLY HOW do we receive and maintain this salvation? 4. Look up the Greek meaning for the word  “salvation” and  thoroughly define what it means.. 5.  Write out exactly how you would present the gospel in order to lead someone into becoming a Christian. 6.  Discuss: “We have been saved, we are being saved, and we will be saved”.   7. How can we tell if we are or someone else  is saved?  8. What is your strategy for being a soul winner?  9. Study the verses in #’s  4139, 3116—3132  in the back  of the Thompson Chain Reference Bible, KJV  and tell what more you learned about salvation by studying those verses.

    10.  Pray about what you could do to stretch in the area of evangelizing and discuss some new strategies you could use that the Lord gave to you after you prayed.   11.  Look up several “mission works” on the internet: Read their sites and pray for the three you read about. If anything in particular really excited you about what God is doing in the work of the people you read about, feel free to share that with us.  12.  What happens to someone when they die  if they reject the gospel?  Be sure to study out chain references to get as many verses as you can to learn about this topic!

You may  share about what you have learned and experienced in dealing with 1 through 11  on 6/18, the end of the study time for this topic.  .

For further inspiration:  There was a lady on Herman and Sharon’s Christian TV program a few days ago who is REALLY into daily evangelism experiences!  She has a book “Yes, Lord” that has her experiences in it.   You can order it from her website: http://yeslordworld.com/
